My wife and I had the pleasure of being hosted at the exquisite Donatella Resort and Sancutary, on Panglao's eastern coast, prior to the pandemic.
As destination wedding planners, the majority of our clients came from abroad and were visiting Bohol -we were there for a client when we stayed at the Donatella- nonetheless, we chose Donatella out of all the resorts we work with in Bohol to celebrate my wife's birthday and our (marriage) engagement photographic shoot.
It was an incredible gem of a getaway, especially for couples.
(this review is still under progress)
This upscale resort overlooks the Bohol Sea and is 3 kilometers from Alona Beach and 4 kilometers from Dumaluan Beach. It is a 10-minute drive from the Bohol-Panglao International Airport.
Donatela Resort was designed with the environment in mind. The eight magnificent villas were designed to blend in organically with the 7.5 hectares of botanical gardens, providing each guest with plenty of private space without sacrificing elegance or comfort.
Apart from the island's tours and sights, the resort also has a fine dining restaurant, a wine room, and a variety of activities such as horseback riding and spa services.
Nature is the landlord at Donatela Resort. We don't bother anyone. We are merely the insignificant tenants.
